QUESTIONS THAT SHI’AHS CANNOT ANSWER – PART 3

(Continued from part 2..)

  1. We read in the Holy Qur'an: “And whoever kills a believer intentionally, his recompense shall be hell, he shall abide therein forever and Allah’s wrath shall be on him and his curse, and prepared for him is a great torment.” (Surah Nisa 4:93) History testifies that during the battles of Siffeen and Jamal 70800 Muslims lost their lives. What is the position of the killers here? Is this verse not applicable to them, some of whom were in the camp of Sayyadina ‘Ali (Radiallahu Anhu)?
  2. Allah tells us in the Qur'an: “And of the people of Madina are those who are bent on hypocrisy. You know them not, but we know them.” (at-Tawbah 9: 101). The verse proves the existence of hypocrites during the lifetime of Rasulullah Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam After his death, where did they go? Which side did the hypocrites join? Surely not that of the Sahabah!
  3. There is not one Shi’ah Temple in Iran where the Taraweeh salaat is performed in Ramadaan wherein a completion of the Qur’an is made. Why don’t you rather join the mainstream Muslims who have love for the Qur’an?
  4. We all know that Rasulullah Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam couldn’t give life and death, or guarantee salvation and goodness for anyone in this world, but your Imams have this power. So who is greater: Rasulullah Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam or your Imams?
  5. Allah has mentioned in the Qur’an that He sent His Messengers in this world so that Islam can become dominant. At the moment, who are in the majority, Muslims or Shi’ahs? Which group of Muslims dominate?
  6. It appears in authentic traditions that whilst digging the Trench, Rasulullah Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam struck a rock from which some sparks emerged. Rasulullah Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam fortold the conquering of Yemen, Persia and Rome in these sparks. Yemen was conquered in the time of Rasulullah Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam, whilst the other prophecies materialized in the era of Sayyadina ‘Umar (Radiallahu Anhu). Could his Caliphate still be wrong?
  7. If Sayyadina ‘Ali (Radiallahu Anhu) was divine, why did he burn those ten people during his reign who claimed he was divine?
  8. Idolatory is nothing but entertaining hopes that the idol will intercede on one’s behalf before Allah: “Yaquloona Ha’ulaa’i Shufa’aauna ‘Indallah.” Don’t you Shi’ahs have the same belief regarding your Imams?
  9. None of the Ahl-e-Bait or the Imams ever mourned the death of Sayyadina Hussein (Radiallahu Anhu), or spoke of the “supposed” injustices against them in a ceremonious fashion like Shi’ahs do nowadays. This proves that these practices have been innovated for no other reason but for kindling enmity against Muslims and justifying their slaughter when the opportunity arises.
  10. Lastly, if Islam is revived after every Karbala, then why do Shi’ahs believe that after the martyrdom of Sayyadina Hussein (Radiallahu Anhu), all the Muslims besides three turned renegade?

It was narrated that Abu Salamah Radiallahu Anha said:

"I asked Aishah Radiallahu Anha: 'Tell me about the fasting of Rasulullah Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam .' She said: 'He used to fast until we said: he is going to fast (continuously), and he would not fast until we said: He is not going to fast. He never fasted any month more than Shaban. He used to fast (all) of Shaban except a little, he used to fast all of Shaban."' '
